Scéal ar na Siog Laochran

Kvinna, Sorchia, Foraoise and Oiche, 4 of the main characters, were created as dolls by the author. The picture shows Kvinna in a costume designed and made by the author. The story started out to be a film score, but circumstances changed, and it was then developed into an epic story of how she tries to ensure the survival of the Elven (Siogach) and their symbiotic Bodharen through all the trials which came their way. Not the least the understanding that trying to live as one society together, wasn’t going to work. And the initial settlement in Uaimh had to be disseminated across their new home moon.

The Awakening of Cad Goddeu

Scéal ar na Siog Laochran

The Elven (Siogach), a hive society, and Bodharen are the only survivors of the cataclysmic destruction of their home world. Kvinna, Banrion of the Siogach, has to lead the different casts of Elves (Siogen) and the Bodharen to build a new society on a moon of a Gas Planet. They, very soon, find they aren’t alone and the battle for survival ensues, not just against the Duifean, a mysterious force, that seems to resent their presence and is hellbent on their destruction, but also the pressures of different Siogach casts and the Bodharen attempting to live together and re-establish their society. Kvinna was specifically selected for this task by the now deceased Matrarc. She’s young, in Siog terms and inexperienced, but she has powers (Sochairen) which she needs to quickly learn to use and grow, with the help of her Banphrionsa, Sorchia. Right from their arrival Sorchia helps her coopt the assistance of the other cast leaders, (Feadhnan). They undergo attacks provoked by the Duifean from the outset and have to defend themselves using just their innate courage and skills. They set up home, (baile) in Uaimh, but it’s only a stopgap and, after a harsh winter, the different casts begin to set up their own homes (bailen) in accordance to their preferences, but there are unforeseen hazards and events along the way.
